For years, leased GPs dominated the local power pool in Russellville. First came a horde of reddish/purpleish locos, which were supplanted by a flock of blue units. Today there were still three blue leaser GP38s in the yard, but also present were UP SD40N 1763 (history unknown) and UP GP40M-2 1497 (a Western Pacific unit built in 1971, which later wore SP and Gateway Western colors). Sliding down the main with a nb manifest, ES44AC 7908 splits the old EMDs to complete the UP portrait.
