Kanawha River Railroad manifest KN380 makes it's first setoff of the day at Nitro Yard on the former NYC West Virginia Secondary. Having taken the line between Columbus, Charleston, and Mullens over in July of this year, the WATCO shortline has been working on rebuilding the traffic base in the chemical valley by running 3-4 mainfest trains a week each direction between Watkins Yard in Columbus and Dickinson Yard in Quincy, in addition to serving three coal transloading operations on the southern end of the line.
