| With the mountain again clear after a early morning run west to Shed 10, Union Pacific's 'lead' spreader set drifts through Soda Springs, following closely behind the 'broken wing' spreader. The spreader sets are returning to Truckee, CA where the Donner snow fighters are 'home based'. The two rebuilt Jordan Spreaders (SPMW 4031 and 4032) bookend a pair of former SP snow service GP38-2s; UP 589 and 604. |
