I caught this crew change at D Street; the only at grade crossing in Helper, Utah. On the left is the CSVLR fresh from loading at the Savage Coal Terminal. It is headed to Richmond, California. The crew change is for this train. The unit on the right is the DPU on the CMAWE returning to the West Elk mine south of Grand Junction, Colorado on the North Fork Sub. Normally these crew changes take place in front of the depot, out of sight around the corner. Today the eastbound on track 2 has the CSVLR blocked. Hence the D Street change.
