ATSF 142 subs for an ailing Amtrak unit as it cruises thru Fort Madison, IA in September of 1993. It looks like a Pepsi Can was already subbing for an F40PH. The yard in Fort Madison was still partially underwater from severe flooding. 142 would be involved in a bad wreck in 2004.
