| EP1 AC (25 kV) electric passenger locomotive drives passenger train on Transsiberian railway. In the background is "Baikal" Lake. EP1 is first eletcric AC locomotive which was developed in Russia after the collapse of the USSR. EP1 built by Novocherkassky electric locomotive plant since 1999 to 2007. Max power of EP1 is 4700 kW. |
