This was a rather interesting day on the CP Chicago Sub...CP was running a day behind with the 473 manifest. So what they did is run the train halfway across the Chicago Subdivision and drop it off at the siding in Davis Junction. Then they ran back east to Genoa light engine to pick up 473 from the day before and run that to Nahant, leaving the train that they originally had at Davis Junction. It was a very odd way of doing things and it took a couple weeks for them to get things back on track(pun intended). Here, engineer Todd brings the CP 6222 east past the east switch at Davis en-route to Genoa to get the train. After everything was ready to go and they received their warrant to leave, Todd would tell the dispatcher that they were running short on time and told the dispatcher to, "Clear the Davenport for them."and he made it into Nahant with time to spare.
