Remarks & Notes |
P&W timetable West but truly Northbound loaded coke rounds 'Hell Bent Curve' crossing a 1903 built Baltimore and Ohio Railroad bridge. Approximately MilePost 11.5 on AVR's P&W sub. This train is a part of the Current day 'Alphabet Route' loaded in Monessen PA at the Wheeling and Lake Erie's Arcelor Mittal's Koppers Coke Plant, then taken to the AVR in Bruceton, and the AVR brings it to the B&P Via the P&W sub in Evans City to take to Buffalo. Once in Buffalo the coke is transloaded into trucks for shipment into Canada, Possibly for Arcelor Mittal's steel mill in Hamilton Ontario. |
