Remarks & Notes
813 was built in 1901,by the company of Hudswell Clarke,Leeds, for the Port Talbot Railway, which became part of the Great Western Railway in 1908.The loco survived until being withdrawn in 1934,when it was sold to the National Coal Board, for use in the North East of England. Finally withdrawn in 1966,the loco was sold to the then fledgling Severn Valley Railway. It is seen here running from Bridgenorth to Highley during the Severn Valley Spring Steam Gala.
