BNSF is experiencing a “grain rush” at the end of winter 2017. Here, a westbound grain train with lone DPU No. 4753 on the rear, has just cleared the long bridge over Lake Pend Oreille at Sandpoint, Idaho, as another westbound BNSF grain train follows close behind on the bridge. Before this westbound is on the curve in the foreground, an eastbound empty grain will have pulled up to the end of double track at West Algoma and occupy the track in the foreground.
