VLIX B23-7 #3179 in Conrail paint is seen here sitting in Saginaw, AL. Awaiting its fate to be scrapped. As you can see the front trucks have already been removed, its just a matter of time before the rest of the locomotive is gone. This Locomotive is former Conrail B23-7 #2023, it's the last B23-7 that was built for Conrail in September of 1979. After it left Conrail it went to CSXT as #3179 & then VLIX #3179, which is what it still is today
