Remarks & Notes
On a snow-covered, frigid Warren winter morning, 3001 trails another Buffalo & Pittsburgh Geep on its way across the Allegheny River to United Refining. This single-track truss bridge once carried the Salamanca Branch of the Pennsylvania Railroad. The construction of the Kinzua Dam in the 1960's truncated the line on Warren's east side when construction was completed; the remnants of the branch now serve the refinery.
