| About 5 miles south of Potosi is where the Platte River where dumps into the Mississippi River. The BNSF Aurora Sub crosses the river on a little causeway near the Banfield Saddle area. Here the Galesburg to Northtown manifest train rumbles towards LaCrosse as they work along the Mississippi River. The train is currently between East Dubuque and Prairie du Chien passing MP 194. |
