Remarks & Notes
The unique GP7U run by the First Coast Railroad in Fernandina Beach, FL sits on the mainline ready to go for the next day. It will haul this cut of cars to the CSX interchange in Yulee, just a short distance away. One will notice the odd shape to 437's cab. It is one of only a small handful in the country that feature this unique style. The engine was built in the early 1950s for the TAG Railroad and has been faithfully hauling freight for the past 65+ years. The Genesee & Wyoming logo on the side is still labeled for the Golden Isles Terminal Railroad where it once served out of Brunswick, GA.
