Finger Lakes Railway's "Sweep Job", GS-2 (Geneva, NY-Solvey,NY Turn), rolls into Solvey at the end of its eastward journey with all three of the railroad's newly rebuilt GP38-2 working hard to pull the 42 car train. The GP38-2s arrived in May 2017 to replace FGLKs leased SD38-2s to help reduce excessive wear-and-tear on the rail infrastructure. This is one of the first runs that FGLK has used all three GP38-2s together.
