Remarks & Notes

After more then 12 years haevy rebuilding, steamlocomotive 141 R 1244, a Montreal built 2-8-2 Mikado, made its first longer journey with a 11 car train in may 2011. Engine driver S.L. has the heavy fuel oil fired locomotive under control and enjoys the journey over the former Olten-Berne mainline between Herzogenbuchsee and Burgdorf with a steady 80 km/h.
