Bangor From the Cab - 2

As Conrail train ABP-1 progresses northward from the south end of Bangor yard. it passes the site of the recently-demolished roundhouse. The sheds of the now-defunct Bangor Lumber Company still exist as part of a storage facility, but much else in this scene is gone. All of the tracks except the main have been removed, as has the sanding tower and yard office to the left. The ex-EL GP7 and the Erie box car at the sanding tower were scrapped years ago, and the landmark gas storage tank has been leveled.
