Here's one for all you Miller Lite fans! Cab Car 8584 on eastbound Metra train #1288 is just coming to a stop at Western Springs on Track 3 while westbound Metra Express train #1277 comes barreling through on Track 2 at, or near, its 70 MPH speed limit. This Express will make only two stops after leaving Chicago Union Station; Naperville and Route 59. Once the passengers have debarked, it then revereses direction and runs back "lite" to Chicago (no passengers) for another load of tired passengers anxious to get home, and on this Friday, to start their weekend! For anyone wanting to see a virtual non-stop parade of commuter trains, just go to any Metra station along BNSF's "Race Track" between Chicago and Aurora and watch the show! You'll also see a few freight trains and three Amtrak trains thrown into the mix as well.
