| The locomotive CD 340 062-9 and CD 340 055-3 are two-frequency AC electric locomotives designed for passenger and freight traffic via electrified border crossings to Austria. The locomotives were created by the reconstruction of the older 240 series. Three pieces were produced, which after 2007 were transferred to the state of the ČD Cargo freight carrier. At present (2017) they provide for freight trains in the departments of Horní Dvořiště - Summerau, or carry freight trains in their area. |
