Remarks & Notes
Winter at 8000’elevation in Utah’s Wasatch mountains. In spite of the BNSF leader, this is a Union Pacific coal train. The #4501 has pulled nearly all of its empty train entirely through the loader. When it finishes it will be nearly to the end of the loader’s tail track. It will cut off these 3 leading engines and run back alongside the empty train, past the flood loader and re-couple on the other end. Then they will pull the train slowly back through the loader.
