Remarks & Notes
After meeting an eastbound Burlington Northern coal load at Sully Springs, North Dakota, a westbound departs the siding on the afternoon of August 9, 1991. The empties are powered by three fresh SD60Ms and a SD40-2. Cascade green looked awesome in the Badlands.

The EMD SD (special duty) series are a strong and reliable kind of locomotive which still serve America's rails today. They have proved themselves reliable by clocking in several million miles of freight service over several decades.
