For a brief time in August 2017, and perhaps for the first time in its history, the Glasston Sub hosted high priority main line freights after the Grand Forks Red River bridge suffered an outage due to a fire. Trains detoured north to Ardoch on the Glasston Sub then east to Warren, MN, via the former Soo Line. A single Dash 9 brings up the rear of this Noyes, MN-bound freight as it passes the Peavey elevator north of Grand Forks.
