Remarks & Notes
Locomotive 298.102 (former Steyrtalbahn #2 "Sierning") is pulling a short freight train loaded with wood logs to the next sawmill. The narrow gauge railway of the Valley of the Steyr (Steyrtalbahn) in Upper Austria was primarily built for the needs of the region's industries, especially the wood industry. It has been operating as a museum railroad since 1985 and is owned by the Austrian Society for Railway History (Österreichische Gesellschaft für Eisenbahngeschichte ÖGEG).
