Easing down the freight lead is the southbound NS 303 (Loudon,TN-Chattanooga,TN) road job finally arriving in the morning light after making a late night/early morning run down the NS West-End Div (A-Line) picking up and dropping off cars for the for industries along the way. Now the Road Job is lined to go to track 7, where the head motors will drop the block of cars off for sorting in the bowel. The power will cut off and head to the diesel shop for serving. NS 2527 the head motor of the train has seen better days, and it's the finest hour for this 20+ year old locomotive, and all 81 of it's sister units as they're going to be rebuilt into the SD70ACC. NS 2527 is in fact one of the future candidate to take part in this rebuild program. Time is the enemy for these spartan cab motors on NS.
