Remarks & Notes
Of the stories this old EMD could probably tell, it likely never predicted such an outcome in its later years. Sitting for a moment between switch moves, LTEX 2558 was putting together a tank train for the Central Maine & Quebec on a soggy February 11, 2018. Far from its original haunts, the GP35U would soon leave Northern Maine Junction for a run to the shoreline--29 miles to the south in Searsport, Maine.
