Remarks & Notes
An Amtrak Keystone led by ACS-64 No. 659, sprints west past SEPTA's Whitford station ducking the massive, abandoned, 1906 built pin-connected Parker through truss bridge. Built for the PRR, the 375 foot bridge was part of a bypass known as the P&T (the Philadelphia and Thorndale Branch) which paralleled the main line between Frazer and Thorndale. It saw its last train in 1989, while Whitford station, just behind the bridge, last serviced Amtrak Keystone trains in 1998.
