Remarks & Notes |
Having spent most of it's later life at the Letterkenny Army Depot, these GE 80 Tonner's were the base's primary switching engines and then later used by the Pennsylvania Southern Railroad. Today, an assortment of EMD SW switchers work in and around the now Industrial Park at Letterkenny while the 80 Tonners sit, expected to be sold. B1674 was built in November of 1952 and served Fort Dix in New Jersey. It contains a Cummins Engine with 335HP. Taken on private property with permission. |
