| Locomotive M62UMM # 001 of the Mongolian Railway (german nickname "Wumme" or "Taigatrommel", built about 1980 by Voroshilovgrad Locomotive works in Luhansk, with new prime mover refitted) with northbound passenger train 285 from Sainshand to Ulaanbaatar near the Omega shaped loop of Khonkhor. In the foreground an "Obo", religious site. Shot during a Tanago Tour, guided by excellent railway photographer and RP contributor Temuulen Batkhurel (Monrailpics Tours). |
