A loaded auto train bound for Dayton's Bluffs in St. Paul, MN, crosses the CP Chicago Sub at Savanna. If a person ever finds old pictures from the Milwaukee Road Days in Savanna, one wouldn't believe how much this area has changed! The bridge just below the train is a walkway bridge for the Great River Trail that is on the old Milwaukee Road mainline that ran towards Quad Cities from Savanna. I was surprised to see old signals still protecting movement, about only ones left along the Aurora Sub. The power for the CP local is parked on the wye for the night.
