First time, new bridge. On the morning of Thursday, August 9, 2018, Norfolk Southern Corp OCS (Office Car Special) 954 became the first train to carry passengers across the new bridge over the Genesee River in Letchworth State Park in Portageville, NY. The old Erie Railroad bridge, built in 1875, was replaced by this new span in December, 2017. With four classic EMD built F units and fourteen cars, this consist made for quite a sight!
