"Holy...this is turning into quite the production." Shortly after those very words were stated by professional railroad photographer and night photography lighting expert Steve Crise, shutter clicks could be heard throughout this small section of the Pomona Fairgrounds as those on hand clicked away. In this scene, which could have very well taken place at any train station in the country during the later year's on World War II, the engine crew of UP 9000 are distracted for a moment as two pairs of young ladies walk past their locomotive. The young ladies aren't looking back up at the cab, however, but rather the strapping young service men below just ahead of them who have jut arrived in their military Jeep.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
