An Operation Lifesaver Special on Union Pacific sits at La Salle, Colorado, on April 27, 2006. The train will make several trips on the Greeley Subdivision and is powered by a pair of EMD SD70Ms, one on each end, to facilitate reverse running on the round trips. Ansco’s Rio Grande Ski train is providing a coach, a cafe lounge and private car “Kansas,” along with F40PH No. 242 providing head end power for the invited passengers.
