| Once a connection and diamond between the IC and M&St.L, this gate at Tara stood the test of time (Lot longer than I thought).....Unfortunately on August 9, 2018, the gate was retired after the CN signal gang did a major work to upgrade for PTC at Tara. Probably one of the last train for me thru the gate was this Fort Dodge to Denison turn local heading west. The train is crossing the UP Tara Sub and will head onto the Omaha Sub at the switch on the far left. |
