The two GP35CATs, powered by Caterpillar 3516 engines, were the "big power" for the Peoria & Pekin Union Railway back in the day, handling much of the heavy grain and coal interchange with the Iowa Interstate. After the G&W lease of the P&PU property, these units were operated until mechanical failure, and then ultimately scrapped. Here they are shoving empty tank cars to the ADM ethanol plant.
