Remarks & Notes
TGV 9213 is rushing through the Saint Louis la Chaussée station at full speed en route to Basel SBB. The TGV POS trainset #4402 is seen here. On 3 April 2007 a train using both power cars of this trainset set a new world speed record for travel on conventional rails. The train reached 574.8 km/h (357.2 mph). It looks like the TGV has hit a few flies or mosquitoes since he has left the Paris Gare de Lyon station. A good wash at final destination is mandatory!
