Remarks & Notes
A Logistic Park, IL, to Long Beach, CA, stack train works ups the .75-.80% grade into New Boston as they pass the approach signal for the Argyle crossovers in southern Iowa. An eastbound vehicle train from Clovis rolls slowly towards Fort Madison as traffic backs up around Fort Mad. Hard to believe that in late 2018 an old style Santa Fe signal bridge can still be found. This one and handful of others still march traffic on this busy Transcon Mainline.
