On September 17, 2018, the CN Osage Sub was officially shorten to MP 83.6, couple miles west of London. The trackage to Glenville has been out of service for awhile now, and looks like its going to be permanent thing? Back in 2008 the Cedar River Local still came out to Glenville for ethanol transloader Poet Biorefining that trucked ethanol downtown for loading. Here the crew is working Glenville with the CN 5436 and CN 6011 and a wedge plow they brought out of Waterloo to fight the drifts. Back in the early IC days, Glenville was once a connection for the IC to get on the Rock Island to access Albert Lea. Those days ended around 1985-86.
