Saying goodbye to the fall foliage. As a Poughkeepsie bound MTA Metro-North Railroad train headed north/west over the Annsville Creek near Peekskill, NY on the afternoon of Sunday, November 11, 2018, the leaves were still hanging on the trees. The mid-week snowstorm would dispose of the remaining color, so going forward we will all look forward to the white stuff decorating the ground for the next few months to break up the dreary winterscape. The New Haven Railroad tribute painted leader was an extra unexpected bonus.
