A Central of New Jersey Railroad survivor sits rather hidden and out of sight along a long abandoned 4 track main through Elizabeth, NJ. Where this freight house sits, the CNJ once had a small yard. It is just 2 blocks west of the restored CNJ station and is located on the opposite, less frequented side of Amtrak's Northeast Corridor, former PRR. Today, it serves as home to the Elizabeth Parking Authority. An aerial photo from the early 1900's can be seen here.
