Railcars ABe 4/4 # 56 "Corviglia" and # 54 "Hakone" are pulling the regional train 1625 from St.Moritz to Tirano along the frozen and partly snowcovered Lago Bianco on the Bernina pass line. In the foreground impressive thick ice, broken due to lowering of the water level of the reservoir for electricity production. Lago Bianco (18 million cubic metres of water) is used as a reservoir by REPower AG (originally Brusio power stations), the water is used for electricity production at the Alp Grüm, Cavaglia, Robbia and Campocologno power stations.
