| Amtrak Northeast Regional 99 crosses the mighty Hell Gate Bridge, which opened in 1917 to link the New Haven and Hartford Railroad with Penn Station in Manhattan. Today it is still used by Amtrak, CSX and the Providence and Worcester to cross the East River from the Bronx to Queens. |
