| The former Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) 4-6-2 express train steamlocomotive 01 # 202, built in 1936 by Henschel/Kassel for the Deutsche Reichsbahn-Gesellschaft with a maximum velocity of 130 km/h, is pulling the "Blue Train" of the IGE Erlebnisreisen/Hersbruck/Germany, on hte single track former "Nationalbahn" line Wettingen-Mellingen. Note the old overhead wire poles. On this line there is no timetabled passenger service and only very few freight or service trains on weekdays. The 5 cars of the "Blue Train" will remain in Switzerland and operated by a new company in the future. The last car in the rear of the train is a former BLS mixed baggage/second class BD, owned by association "Pacific 01 202" at Lyss. |
