Locomotive Re 456 # 093 of the Südostbahn (SOB) in the publicity paint scheme for the Rhomberg Sersa Rail Group, is pulling the Voralpen Express VAE 2576 from St.Gallen to Lucerne, between Meggen and Luzern Verkehrshaus. The locomotive was built in 1987 by SLM and BBC as # 93 for the Bodensee-Toggenburg-Bahn (BT), has 3200 kW and a maximum velocity of 130 km/h. From december 2019, when the Voralpen Express changes to the new TRAVERSO trains, this 6 Re 456 locomotives are surplus, in the moment it is not known yet where they will run in the future.
