Steam railcar CZm 1/2 # 31 of SBB Historic, maintained and operated by the steam group Zürich (Verein Dampfgruppe Zürich VDZ), is running on the Bözberg mainline from Brugg to Effingen, between Villnachern and Schinznach Dorf. This railcar was built in 1902 by Emil Kessler/Esslingen/Germany for the SBB and ran in the commuter service round Zürich. From 1906 to 1945 owned and operated by the Uerikon-Bauma-Bahn, then withdrawn, but conserved. Operational again since 1980 as historic vehicle of SBB/SBB Historic, on long term loan to the steam group Zürich.
