A quartet of General Electric locomotives combine to lift BNSF Railway train Z-SBDALT9-12 upgrade through the canyons west of Kingman, Arizona, on a hot (102ยบ F) August 12, 2017, afternoon. The train, an LTL intermodal heading from San Bernardino CA to Alliance TX, is powered by BNSF ES44DC 7692, BNSF ES44C4 8265, BNSF ES44DC 7909, CREX ES44AC 1203 and BNSF Dash 9-44CW 4907. The gathering thunderheads will make this area very wet before the sun sets.
