| Much has changed since Big Boys last roamed the mainlines of the Union Pacific, one thing that has not is the often severe afternoon thunderstorms that build up over Wyoming and Nebraska. Shortly after arriving in Sidney, its overnight destination, the steam crew was making a few final positioning moves as an afternoon storm quickly moves in from the west. The EMD SD70M at right is one of several locomotives stored at Sidney. |
