Metrolink train 660, a Los Angeles to Oceanside train, passes CP Maple in Orange, California, on October 28, 2017. This is one of the first (if not the first) trains powered by an F125 to operate on Metrolink's Orange County Line. While the new F125s are finally entering service, they are, for now, paired with an older locomotive - in this case, F59PH 858 - just in case there is a problem. This train was running 11 minutes late this morning, but that delay may have been casused by traffic on the BNSF's Transcon, passenger loading problems or setting up the Positive Train Control, or another issue not related to the new locomotive.
