Rolling past BNSF train BNSF O-SBDSBD2-16A, the 2017 California Division Christmas Train, is a Long Beach CA to Logistics Park Chicago IL double-stack train, symboled S-LBELPC2-15. Power for this intermodal train is BNSF ES44DC 7475, BNSF ET44AC 3787, BNSF ES44C4 4272 and BNSF 8277. The 1016-foot long Mount Vernon Avenue bridge, in the background, is too low to allow BNSF's Mi-Jack container loaders access to the whole yard - it is split in two due to the Mt. Vernon viaduct. While it has spanned this yard since 1934, the bridge was recently found to be "structurally deficient and functionally obsolete" (commercial verhicles are no longer allowed to use it) and is slated for demolition soon, and construction of a new bridge will commence in 2020.
