A pair of squeaky-clean BNSF Railway ES44C4s are ample power for train O-LACKCM9-29A as it climbs Cajon Pass on August 29, 2018. BNSF 8342 and 8005 can easily handle this 18-car train this morning. This train originated the day before in Oakland, California, and traveled to Los Angeles via Union Pacific's Coast Line (!). On this day, the train is heading from Los Angeles to Williams, Arizona. On August 30, the train departs Williams for Lamy, New Mexico. After several hours, the train will continue east overnight to Kansas City, Missouri, arriving at KC's Union Station. Sixteen of the eighteen cars are from BNSF's business car fleet, and the other two are owned by Patrick Henry Creative Promotions.
