The summer with its bright and short nights is the best time for training and honing the skills of shooting in conditions of insufficient or poor lighting. That photo is perhaps one of the most technically difficult with a moving train in my practice. It is 2:35 in the morning, more than an hour before dawn. The sky above the sunrise covers the edge of the cyclone, hiding the already scarce light. The searchlight beam appeared from behind the forest, it is rapidly approaching and growing. The train follows the station Msta without stopping, at full speed. The camera settings on max... The train is getting closer to the cherished point ... The moment has come, I beat the series. There is a hit!
Just an album to assist myself and others with RZD and CSR research looking for the more interesting (loco hauled) passenger operations of this part of the world.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
